Who’s Moving up to the Upper Echelon?

Buying into an ultra-luxury development like Echelon on the South Perth Esplanade is a major life decision.

And sometimes the best way to know if a decision is right for you is through other people who’ve already been there, done that.

Simon Ashton and his partner Andrea Prindiville are one such couple. Before buying a Giorgi Architects and Builders residence in this iconic foreshore location, Simon and Andrea did their homework meticulously. Echelon emerged as an easy choice.

“We love the concept of space, light and the indoor-outdoor lifestyle, so we bought on the podium level, which has 200sqm of balcony offering stunning uninterrupted views of the city,” Mr Ashton said.

What really caught our attention was only 12 residences occupy the entire complex, as we had no interest in moving into the more common larger apartment developments.

“We wanted to move into a more carefree, lock-up-and-leave lifestyle, so we spoke to Giorgi and were attracted by the passion they showed in wanting to provide us with a truly luxurious option.”

Giorgi Architects and Builders managing director Claude Giorgi believes Echelon offers the growing 55-year-old-plus market the ability to live and invest in Perth’s next destination hotspot.

The development not only includes uninterrupted river views and easy access to Perth’s CBD, but is also located within the hub of South Perth’s exciting Connect South revitalisation project.

The Connect South project celebrates the Swan River and the view, and is taking shape directly across the road from Echelon around the Mends Street Jetty foreshore and the surrounding precinct.

Having made the decision to secure a private sanctuary in the heart of this revitalised riverfront hub, Mr Ashton is looking forward to the everyday joys of life at Echelon later this year.

“We will have our own direct access from our personal garage, a beach across the piazza, cycle paths, stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking literally on our doorstep,” he said. “We can also walk to the local shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and hop on the ferry to the city, which is only 10 minutes across the Swan.”

Interest in Echelon has moved up a notch as the project nears completion. Eight of the 12 apartments have sold, the restaurant has been leased and there is one commercial boutique office remaining to be sold.

One of the penthouses and two sub-penthouses are on the market, all of them offering Giorgi’s trademark luxury finishing. The penthouse has 4.5m-high ceilings.

With just two residences per level, each with uninterrupted river views, three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, secure direct lift access, large balconies and two or three car bays, Echelon will be one of Perth’s finest riverfront addresses.

Echelon is a proud addition to our portfolio of ultra-luxury developments, many of which have caught the eye of the judges at countless award shows. We recently won Apartment of the Year in the 2018 HIA Colorbond steel Matt Perth Housing Awards. We also took out wins for our 10 Bellevue residences as the Western Australian Apartment Complex of the Year, Western Australian Apartment of the Year and Western Australian Outdoor Project of the Year.

We expect to complete Echelon by the middle of this year. As already stated, only a few opportunities remain to secure a residence in this exclusive ultra-luxury development, and interest is strong. For enquires, contact Danny Giorgi 0413 053 800, Gabriel Tana 0419 949 440 or call 9444 0206.
